PASTOR TOM KIM

First and Summerfield United Methodist Church welcomed the Reverend Gye Ho (Thomas) Kim, "Pastor Tom," as our minister, starting July 1, 2012. He came to New Haven from the Overlook United Methodist Church, Woodstock, New York, having served as their pastor since 2005. Prior to that, he was the pastor at Rye United Methodist Church and Vails Gate United Methodist Church. His wife, Rachel, is also a United Methodist minister and is serving as pastor of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church on Townsend Avenue in New Haven.

Pastor Tom studied at Drew Univerity, graduating with a Mastor of Philosophy and a PH.D. Prior to that, he erned a Mastor ofr Theology from the United Methodist Theological University in Seol, Korea.
